Software Developer
Are you passionate about learning new technologies and modern methods? Do you love to innovate and solve problems for clients? Do you enjoy working in a collaborative team environment? Software Developers at Protegra are involved in all aspects of the solution delivery; including design, development, testing, deployment and support. Experience and/or knowledge with any of the following tools or methods would be considered an asset; .Net, JAVA, VB, Lean, Agile, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, SOLID, SCRUM, Mobile technologies, Rich Internet Applications (RIA), Cloud, HTML5, DotNetNuke and/or Scala.
Ideally you will possess a post-secondary degree/certificate from a computer science program of a recognized university or college.
Technical Architect
Do you have solid development, architecture and consulting experience? The Technical Architect role provides the bridge between the business and the technical delivery team and incorporates elements of mentoring, coaching, analysis, modeling, solution design and delivery. The Technical Architect role leads the development effort and is responsible for the technical feasibility of the solution. Ideally, you have provided technical consulting to external clients or fulfilled the role of systems engineer. Practical experience in lean system development and agile methods are definite assets.
Ideally you will have five to seven years of relevant experience, including experience in designing enterprise-class applications of moderate complexity and experience leading small to medium development teams and possess a post-secondary degree/certificate from a computer science program of a recognized university or college.
Project Manager
Are you an exceptional communicator, facilitator and motivator, with experience in managing moderate to complex Information Technology projects, within a process-driven and client-focused environment? Do you enjoy working with contemporary project management methodologies? Are you passionate about teamwork, innovation and creativity? The Project Manager leads all phases of the project life-cycle, leads multi-disciplinary teams of IT and Business professionals and ensures on-time, on-budget completion of the project to the satisfaction of the client.
Ideally you will have a minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects, with a College or University degree with a major focus on information technology.
Application Architect/Business Analyst
Do you enjoy problem solving and bridging the gap between business and information technology? Do you have strong communication, interviewing and facilitation skills? Have you demonstrated the ability to help define business objectives and drivers and articulate those needs, opportunities and requirements to a diverse audience? Are you passionate about leading the analysis and conceptual design of solutions and exploring innovative ways of improving upon them? Application Architects at Protegra are key to ensuring the quality of the solution and are involved in all aspects of testing.
Ideally you will have a minimum 5 years of experience with functional systems analysis, modeling and design as well as experience with various IT methodologies, processes and practices such as Agile or Lean. You possess a post-secondary degree/certificate in a related discipline, such as Computer Science or Business Analysis.
Consultant
Are you able to build strong rapport with clients creating respect and trust? Are you passionate about assisting clients with change and solving business problems and improving results? Have you demonstrated the ability to plan and lead the delivery of workshops and facilitated events? Thinking strategically, the consultant is involved in leading the design and delivery of often complex solutions and change management programs and products that provide true business impacts and constructing the overall transformation roadmap with the client’s teams.
Ideally you will have seven to ten years of relevant experience; which could include experience with business process design/re-design, defining business requirements, Information Technology, a deep understanding of business transformation concepts, organizational design, the deployment of Lean practices and tools, and influencing people. You possess a post-secondary degree/certificate in a related discipline.
